Kate Pattle

Kate Pattle is at present a practice nurse at Lambeth Walk Group Practice which is part of the Department of General Practice of Guy's, King's and St. Thomas' School of medicine.

Since qualifying in 1985 at St. Bartholomew's Hospital she has worked in a variety of specialities including Intensive Care, Accident and Emergency, Travel Health and Occupational Health. She spent some years as an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor within the oil industry and later with the British Transport Police.

In her current post Kate has a particular interest in the management of asthma, diabetes and women's health. She has also been involved in several primary care research projects. Health promotion and health education constitute a large part of her role.
