Dr James KennedyDr James Kennedy is a General Practitioner in Hillingdon, North West London, where he is a partner in a four partner fund-holding practice. He is also a Senior Lecturer in General Practice at Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School, part of Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine. After undergraduate training in Cork, in the Irish Republic, Dr Kennedy completed his vocational training for General Practice in Cleveland, North East England. He was for several years Lecturer in Primary Care Therapeutics at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and a Principal in General Practice in the East End of Newcastle. Dr Kennedy moved to London to his present post in November 1995. Dr Kennedy's current interests include Research in Primary Care particularly Prescribing Research, Post Graduate Education (he designed and runs the Diploma in Primary Care Therapeutics in Charing Cross & Westminister Medical School) and multi disciplinary team working and education.
